Academic Strategies: Working with the Unix Shell In-Person
If you're working with data, you may have (or want to) work with the shell at some point. This workshop is a basic introduction to the Unix Shell. Its goal is to give you the foundational knowledge and experience. We will discuss why and how to use the command line; use essential shell commands for working with items and spaces on your computer; and showcase a few commands that can help you work with files, with a focus on text files.
