Library Workshop for AP MPH Students: Set Yourself Up for Success Online
Join Kayla Del Biondo, Simbonis Librarian for Public Health, in this interactive workshop, where you will learn how to set up Yale Links in Google Scholar and PubMed for seamless access to the full text of articles. You’ll learn the benefits of creating a free account in PubMed and other health science databases, like the ability to save searches and create email alerts. Kayla will also demonstrate some of her favorite features of citation managers– like the group library feature of Zotero, and the cite while you write (CWYW) component of EndNote. Students are encouraged to ask questions throughout the workshop and they are bound to walk away feeling more confident about finding, saving, reading, and citing public health literature.
