Analyzing and visualizing RNA-seq public datasets using Qlucore Omics Explorer In-Person
In person, registration required
Qlucore Omics Explorer is a software that provides tools for downloading, analyzing, and visualizing processed multiomics data (RNA-seq, proteomics, metabolomics). In this session, we will use this software to download a processed RNA-seq dataset from a public repository, find the differentially expressed genes, generate different plots such as PCA, heatmaps, boxplot, volcano plots, Venn diagrams, etc. Attendees of this session will learn
-how to find an RNA-seq dataset from a public repository
-how to upload the expression data to Qlucore Omics Explorer
-how to add sample or variable annotations
-how to perform a differential analysis
-how to generate PCA, heatmap, boxplot, etc.
The Cushing/Whitney Medical Library provides free access to Qlucore Omics Explorer to Yale affiliates.
Requisites:
Download and install Qlucore Omics Explorer.
