Advanced Search Techniques: Books and Articles Online

Learn how to research like a librarian, including how to use Advanced Search to find books and articles in Quicksearch. Join us for 30-minutes and get a step ahead for coursework and research projects! 

Attendees will learn how to:

  • navigate to distinct resource types in Quicksearch (books, articles, etc.)
  • use filters (subject, author, discipline) to find more relevant results
  • identify Advanced Search features
  • broaden and narrow search results using operators AND, OR, and NOT

Audience: Undergraduate students. Graduate students are also welcome.
