The Arts Library study rooms are reserved for group study of 2 - 6 people and are equipped with the following:
- Wall-mounted flat screen monitor
Personal laptops can connect to the monitors through screen cast or by downloading the vSolution app. For streaming videos, connecting with the provided cables is recommended; Mac laptop will need a Mini-DVI to DVI adapter.
- Whiteboards
Dry-erase markers are available for checkout at the Main Desk. Use only the markers provided.
- TV with VHS/DVD player
Available in study room B36. Remote control is available for check out at the Main Desk.
Booking Policies
- Reservations can be made up to one week in advance.
- Rooms are booked in 30-minute increments, for a maximum of two hours per day. The final reservation slot ends 30 minutes before library closing
- Drop-in use is welcome; however, groups with reservations have priority. Drop-in users must vacate the room if a reservation is scheduled.
- If a group has not arrived within 15 minutes of the reservation start time, the Arts Library may cancel the reservation.
- A Yale University email address is required to make a reservation.
Room Use Policies
- Sleeping and eating are not permitted in study rooms.
- Rooms are intended for quiet group discussion and may not be used for social gatherings, regularly scheduled classes, or seminars.
- Rooms are not soundproof. Please be considerate of others studying nearby.
- Library staff regularly monitors study rooms and may enter at any time.
- Doors remain unlocked. Do not leave personal belongings unattended; the library is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
- Please help maintain a respectful and clean shared space by leaving the room as you found it. Return furniture to its original arrangement, erase the whiteboard, and dispose of any trash properly.
