Introduction to Python for Biological Data Analysis: Part 2 In-Person
This is a two-part introductory workshop on Python designed for those with no prior programming experience. The first part covered basic Python concepts, such as data types, variable assignments, modules, and functions.
This second part will focus on using the Pandas module for loading and manipulating data sets and making publication-worthy plots.
As this is an interactive workshop, bring your laptop. We will be using the Anaconda Python distribution, which can be downloaded here (https://www.anaconda.com/download/). We will use Python 3.6, so make sure you install the correct version. Please have Anaconda installed before attending the workshop.
