eBooks and Beyond: Insights Across Disciplines In-Person
The SCOPA panel eBooks and Beyond will be a cross-subject discussion to raise awareness of trends in digital works. We will be joined by James Kessenides, Kaplanoff Librarian for American History; Andy Shimp, Librarian for Engineering, Applied Sciences, Chemistry, and Mathematics; and Lindsay Barnett, the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library's Collection Development Librarian.
Each will offer insights and comments on what is happening in ebooks, from born-digital monographs to user experience to user privacy and cooperative collections.
Refreshments will be served. This SCOPA panel will be livestreamed via Panopto, but not recorded, as the discussion is informal.
