From benchside to Rstudio: Part 2 In-Person
This is the second part of a 2-part practical, hands-on course on the R programming language, designed for those with no prior programming experience. The objective is to get attendees from a large public dataset to a testable hypothesis as efficiently as possible.
The course will cover:
- Basic R syntax, data types, and packages
- Accessing public databases like The Cancer Genome Atlas
- Generating graphs and plots to address specific questions
Note: Bringing a windows or mac laptop is mandatory for the course. Rstudio should be installed before attending the course. For installation instructions please visit https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/#download.
