Peeking Under the Hood: Understanding, Assessing, and Improving Your Library’s Website and LibGuides (Session 2 of 2) In-Person

In this session, the second of 2, participants will learn how to make your library's website and/or your LibGuides compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and discover usability methods that you can apply to improve your guides and sites.

This course will be taught by Andy Hickner, the Web Services Librarian at Cushing/Whitney Medical Library. The full course is being offered as CE $265 at the Annual Meeting of the Medical Library Association in May 2018 - but YUL employees will get to take the course here at Yale for FREE!

Participants are welcome to register for either session or both; attendance at the first session is not required to attend the second session. Bring your own laptop if possible; it will come in handy during our hands-on exercises.
