OpenRefine for Technical Services In-Person
The goal of this workshop is to learn how to run an open source data processing tool, OpenRefine.
Learning outcomes include:
- Use some basic functions to edit a spreadsheet file (such as replace, split, trim, and rename)
- Retrieve external data by URLs and parse specific data from it
- Export edited data to Excel
- Extract operation code and reuse it to other spreadsheet files
