Getting Started with Research Data Management In-Person

This workshop is a practical guide for everyone from beginning graduate students before your prospectus to a postdoc working with your team in a lab. We will use a data example to talk about the tools and strategies you can use to make sure that your project is well-documented for the future you (or the researchers after you).

Topics will include metadata standards, data documentation, data preservation, ways to approach data cleaning, and how to access Yale's many resources for help. If you have ever wanted to know more about the best methods to use for managing your files, folder structures, and approach to documentation, this workshop is for you.
