(Remote Sensing Part I is required to enroll in this training. Part III will also be offered)
Date: October 24, 2017
Time: 4:00-6:00pm
Location: ESC 119 YCEO Lab
The Yale Center for Earth Observation is offering this second workshop on satellite-based remote sensing. The workshop is targeted to students who have taken the introductory workshop, or already have a basic understanding of remote sensing concepts. It will be taught in the YCEO Lab. Students will use ENVI software to explore a variety of image enhancement and analysis techniques to identify features in the landscape. Tools include 2D scatterplots, spectral/temporal profiles, and cell value and mensuration tools. Students will also use image histograms and statistics to explore these satellite data.
