Introduction to Patents and Intellectual Property In-Person
Do you have an idea you would like to protect? How are inventors recognized? This session will cover the method for recording an invention with the U.S. Government and how to read a patent. We will look at an invention and discuss how it is described in the patent literature. We also will explore patents in the context of other forms of intellectual property such as trademarks and copyright.
