Global Health Information Resources In-Person

Are you working on global health? Are you confident that you’ve identified the relevant scholarly literature, grey literature, and health statistics for your region of interest? In this workshop, we’ll demo and practice how to find global health information efficiently. You’ll learn how to zero in on relevant information in popular biomedical databases, and you’ll discover regional information sources, including WHOLIS, AIM, IMEMR, IMSEAR, WPRIM, and LILACS. We’ll also discuss techniques for identifying and evaluating grey literature and health statistics from official and non-governmental sources. When you leave this workshop, you’ll have a toolkit of approaches that you can adapt for any biomedical research question in any region.
