Literature Reviews in 60 Minutes In-Person
How do you start a literature review? What if you find way too much information? What if you find nothing at all? What do you do with all these articles? And how do you know when you’re done?
Join us to talk about your public health/biomedical literature review, from early planning to final proofreading. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll start developing a concept table for your research question. You’ll choose appropriate databases for your topic, and you’ll learn about pearl-growing and hand-searching as well as database searching. After sixty minutes, you’ll have a plan for your literature review and a list of tried-and-tested resources for reference management and project management. Most importantly, you’ll have confidence that you can get your next lit review done quickly and well.
