SCOPA Project Management Forum In-Person

Join your library colleagues and representatives from the Yale Project Management Office for a Project Management forum on Wednesday, 4/19 from 9-11 at 25 Science Park, Room 125.

SCOPA is providing this forum as an opportunity for staff to gain insight into the entire project management lifecycle. As an organization, one of YUL’s objectives is to work collaboratively on library goals, and project management is an effective tool for managing roles, requirements, communication, and transparency. SCOPA looks forward to this opportunity to pilot a “hands-on,” experiential learning forum.

In this session, project managers – including YUL’s Melissa Wisner, Steve Wieda, and Doug Duhaime and the Yale Project Management Office’s Kim Miller and Linda M. Carbonell Faust – will provide an overview of the foundations of project management.

Then, breaking into groups, we’ll dive into project management topic areas and explore project management functions and techniques hands-on.

Resources from the forum will be loaded into a shared Google Drive folder, and you're welcome to review the folder prior to the session: http://bit.ly/scopapm
