Open Refine/Linked Data In-Person

Data is messy...Data lives in silos...But it doesn't have to be! Learn the basics behind Linked Open Data (LOD) theory and application. We will discuss data strategies, schema, & applications for LOD. Then we will work with the open source data cleaning tool OpenRefine, learning how this powerful, free software can help normalize, clean, and structure your messy research data.
