Sketching Yale: Drop-In Session @ YUAG Sculpture Garden

Sketching Yale: Drop-In Session @ YUAG Sculpture Garden In-Person

Join the Haas Arts Library and the Yale School of Art for a program dedicated to documenting the remarkable built environment at Yale. Each month during the Spring 2024 semester, a different Yale building will be selected for documentation, and a different MFA student from the School of Art will be on hand to provide insight and advice.

Open to the Yale community, the “Sketching Yale” events are a perfect opportunity to explore your sketching skills, take a break from studying, and join  a vibrant community of artists capturing the beauty of Yale through drawings. All experience levels welcome! While limited notebooks and pencils will be available, please bring your own drawing supplies. No pens, charcoal, paints, or markers of any kind are allowed to protect library and gallery spaces and materials. The Haas Library will also provide books and resources to inspire your creativity. Registration through this form is encouraged but not required.

Please find the full schedule of “Sketching Yale” events below, hosted on the last Wednesday of every month. These are drop-in sessions that all members of the Yale community are invited to join at any time:
