Beyond the Basics: Google News, Blogs, and Trends

Google News, Blogs, and Trends each have very helpful features for researchers wanting to engage with current (and historical) events.

Explore the features of Google News and Blogs, along with search strategies that can help you find what you want more quickly. We will then explore how to interact with the wealth of data in Google Trends, which serves as a gateway to web search information from 2004 to the present.

This workshop will be held in the library classroom in 17 Hillhouse. The classroom is on the lower level--from the entrance, just take the elevator or stairs down one floor and look for room 07.

All members of the Yale community are welcome to attend this workshop.
