Just in time for winter research trips, the Yale University Library will host a workshop on how best to find materials from the U.S. National Archives & Presidential Library System (NARA)--whether you're traveling to NARA's facilities or staying here in New Haven. Topics include using the NARA online catalogs; understanding the NARA structure (Archives I & II, Presidential Libraries, Regional Archives) to maximize the productivity of your research trip; and accessing NARA materials at Yale through databases, microfilm collections, and Interlibrary Loan. Presented by Sahr Conway-Lanz, Senior Archivist for American Diplomacy (Manuscripts and Archives), and Melanie Maksin, Librarian for Political Science, International Affairs, Public Policy, and Government Information (Center for Science and Social Science Information). |
